Chile 2010

On September 18, 2010, Chile celebrate two centuries of republican life. This date marks a symbolic milestone in the history of my country: the beginning of the process that would lead us to be an independent nation.
Chile's Bicentennial is an important date, a cause for celebration that we can celebrate who we are as a nation and what we have achieved in these two hundred years. Is a crucial moment to reflect on what we did right and what must change and improve in the coming years.

However, although this was an important year for our country, because they are not welcome any birthday, in spite of this great event, this year was marked indeed quite unfortunate and catastrophic, as was the case of the earthquake / tsunami and If the trapped miners. These two events marked deep in the history of my country and its inhabitants, this year was marked by sadness, anger, despair, fear, but despite everything bad that we had, we must draw a lesson and always look positive and think that people of my country was able to move forward with courage, bravery, strength, admiration, sacrifice and all these virtues are not only demonstrated in Chile, but also throughout the world best in the year bicentennial, the Chilean We gave him the example of fighters home and show you the rest of the world as are the inhabitants of this beautiful country, therefore, we show that despite the years and the various achievements that have been Chile, still runs Mapuche blood within us, yet we must be proud of our origins, because, with this blood we could go ahead and re-create and build our home.
In conclusion, after recalling these facts, the consequences of these and the actions that have taken the people of my country, I can say I'm proud to be Chilean, and that, despite everything bad that we lived, we able to move forward and show that Chile is a country with courage and bravery, making this year so maybe celebrate a little different but I think it was the best way to demonstrate the life and soul of Chile.
